INTO THE GREEN & GROWING GARDEN

leafWhether we have acres of land at our disposal or only some plant pots on our kitchen windowsill, the act of planting a seed is a powerful metaphor for the process of development and change we experience within.

If we are concerned for the nurture of our soul or the nourishment of our soil, an awareness of the cycles of growth and die-back can make constructing our personal garden path simultaneously fascinating and fruitful.

grassThis site is not a gardening manual, nor is it strictly necessary to grow any plants to understand its meaning. Instead it is a light-hearted attempt to understand the changing seasons of our gardens, both virtual and real, and to share ideas on how to keep them blooming in the face of adversity.

This virtual garden – like any real garden – is always being added to and undergoing change. New shoots will appear, old growth may be chopped and put on the compost heap perhaps for recycling later. Check back often to see what’s blooming.
